At the Sunstar Hotel Grindelwald you are spoilt for choice.
During the summer we open our à la carte Restaurant Adlerstube for you daily. Here you get what you need after a long day in the mountains: from regional Swiss specialties to classics. Depending on your mood and the weather, you have the possibility to make yourself comfortable in the rustic parlor or to enjoy the sun on the terrace. Not only the food is impressive, but also the wine list.
For a cozy time-out or for the small appetite, we are happy to welcome you in our bar with fireplace and panoramic terrace with a breathtaking view of the Eiger. In addition to well-known cocktail classics, refreshing long drinks, simple and exquisite brandies as well as selected wines, we serve you a varied snack offer.
Breakfast is served in our Ambiance Restaurant. During the day, this can be booked exclusively for events, groups and functions. For group inquiries and individual solutions we are gladly at your disposal. Just ask us.

Start the day from 07 am - 11 am with a view of the magnificent mountains and a rich breakfast buffet that leaves nothing to be desired.
EVERYTHING YOUR HEART DESIRES.
The buffet awaits you with a variety of breads, muesli, delicious egg dishes, fresh fruit, a diverse selection of regional and national cheeses and meats, and exquisite teas. No wish is left unfulfilled here.
Restaurant Adlerstube
Of course, typical Swiss specialties belong in our cozy and rustic Adlerstube. We attach great importance to fresh and sustainable products. Meat lovers will also get their money's worth in the Adlerstube with our Emmental beef tomahawk - a real treat.
Restaurant Ambiance
In summer our Restaurant Ambiance is open from Thursday - Saturday from 6 - 10 pm. Our Ambiance Terrace with a view of the Eiger invites you to a romantic candlelight dinner, BBQ or a classic cheese fondue.
For groups, seminars or events we are happy to open our Restaurant Ambiance outside opening hours. We are at your disposal for inquiries and look forward to organizing your event individually and personally.
In winter you can help yourself to our daily evening buffet. On Fridays and Saturdays accompanied by piano music.
Bar & Lounge
Casual atmosphere, cozy and entertaining... This is how you spend the evenings in our stylish Bar & Lounge with fireplace and panoramic terrace. The bartender will spoil you with well-known cocktail classics, refreshing long drinks, simple and exquisite brandies and selected wines. Order a drink and then just enjoy the view of the Eiger...
For the small hunger or in between, enjoy sweet temptations from our patisserie, crispy tarte flambée Alsace style or the traditional Grindelwald sausage & cheese Plättli.
