In autumn, Grindelwald reveals its quietest yet most beautiful side on two wheels. Crisp air, golden slopes and empty trails make the region especially appealing at this time of year – for mountain bikers, gravel enthusiasts and e-bikers alike. Steep singletracks, sweeping gravel routes through forest and alpine meadow, wide panoramic paths and technical descents – there's something here for everyone, whether on wide or narrow tyres.

Golf

Jungfraujoch
Top of Europe
No excursion in the region is as breathtaking as the journey to the Jungfraujoch. The railway carries you right through the Eiger up to 3,450 metres above sea level – passing Kirchet, Eigergletscher and Eismeer, before opening onto a panorama like no other. In autumn, visibility is often exceptionally clear: the Aletsch Glacier, the largest ice field in the Alps, glitters at your feet, while the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau rise close by. The Ice Palace, the Sphinx observation terrace and the Alpine Sensation themed trail make the visit an experience for all the senses.
Glacier Gorge
Nature at its most striking
Where the Lower Grindelwald Glacier once carved its powerful path, imposing rock walls now rise up to 300 metres high. A walkway leads deep into the gorge, letting you experience the rushing waters of the Lütschine, a gentle breeze and striking plays of light up close. From geology and glaciers to water and myths, the themed trails make the Glacier Gorge a fascinating experience for all ages. A highlight is the 170 m² Spiderweb, a walkable net suspended over the gorge offering a unique view and a thrill like no other. Easily accessible and a great experience in any weather.
Cliff Walk

High above the valley, tracing the edge of the rock face, the Cliff Walk leads to one of Grindelwald's most striking panoramas. The walkway clings to the cliff, opening up an unobstructed view of the surrounding peaks and glaciers – an experience that combines thrills with natural beauty in a truly unique way. Even on rainy days, there's no shortage of things to do in Grindelwald: the Sports Centre offers an indoor pool, ice rink, curling hall, bouldering room, indoor rope park and games hall for active days, whatever the weather.
